1.5m Telescope

The 1.5m telescope was installed in the Sierra San Pedro Mártir in 1970, through a partnership with the University of Arizona; under the enthusiastic auspice of the astronomer Harold Johnson.

The primary mirror, originally aluminum, was replaced by a Cervit mirror. Most of its mechanical mount has been replaced.
