0.84m Telescope

    The primary mirror was designed and polished by the Institute of Astronomy - UNAM academic staff and has a secondary mirror f/15. It has been at OAN-SPM since 1972.

Most of its mechanical mount has been replaced.

♦ Ritchey-Chretien design.

♦ Secondary: f/15 (~ 16.43 "/mm).
♦ AH limits: ± 5h29m (special sorftware for AH: ± 6h).
♦ DEC limits: mechanical safe at +75º 00' 00'' (yoke obstructs at >+70º) y -39º 00' 00'' (with software for <-39º).
