CID (Cámara Infrarroja Doble)
The Cámara Infrarroja Doble (CID) or Double Infrared Camera was designed for astronomical studies in the near and mid-infrared, through two separate instruments that share the same cryogenic container. The entire optical system is baffled to minimize parasitic radiation. To date, the CID is a cutting edge instrument in its class because of its spectral range dual coverage and its compact and efficient design.
